摘要

My name is Katlyn Wood and I am a 19 year old with a love for goats who lives in Prince Edward County, ON. My passion has always been with helping animals and one day I hope to work in the field of veterinary medicine while also being a part of the Boer goat industry. I have been a 4-H member since 2006 which has taught me a lot and have found interest in the beef, quilt, goat, sheep and square dancing clubs over the years. My accomplishments in 4-H have been pretty great, and being involved in 4-H made me have a love for showing. In 2011, I showed at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in the Dairy Goat Youth Show and came home with Reserve Grand Champion Doe (a doe owned by Pryme Farms) and third in Showmanship. I have also shown my 4-H heifer calf in the National Junior Beef Heifer Show at the Royal but hope to be able to show in the goat show again this year.
