Recently, patient safely (PS) concerns have called the'attention of medical educators, mainly during postgraduate training and medical practice improving programs. Previous studies described that the first encounter with medical errors (ME) for most physicians occurred when they were students during clinical rotations. Clerkship is considered the ideal moment to incorporate PS competencies; however, very few studies have described this experience.
