摘要

The aim of the research was to determine the lipid profile in different age groups of Simmental cattle. Studies were conducted on 90 specimens: 30 calves (up to 8 weeks old), 30 heifers (up to 30 months old) and 30 adult cows (more than 36 months old). The following parameter levels were determined: total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and total lipids. The determined fraction levels in the majority were lower in calves. However, with heifers and adult cows, the values were in the boundaries of the physiological norm or were slightly higher..
