The former Chicago Technical Center in Rolling Meadows, III.. has been expanding steadily in recent months, and now it becomes the national headquarters of Mori Seiki USA, Inc. The previous HQ, in Irving, Texas, will continue to support customers in that area as one of the company's seven tech centers. The American parts center remains there in the Dallas area, though Mori also handles parts, local sales, service, and training through its local distributors. The Chicagoland facility, on Meadowbrook Drive in Rolling Meadows, remains home to the company's mid-American sales subsidiary, which continues to serve some national accounts after the shift to several Ellison Technologies distributorships in the upper Midwest region (see M.I.R., 3/24/06).
