Martin Lane is managing director of Wilco Manufacturing - a family run engineering business - as well as being the president of the BTMA (British Turned Parts Manufacturers Association). His involvement with the BTMA began some 10/11 years ago when the company first attended a BTMA meeting invited by machine tool member, Star following the purchase of Wilco's first CNC sliding head machine. Since then Lane has valued the organisation as an important forum and support network for UK turned parts subcontractors.
