Possibilities opening up to FARO with the introduction of the Laser Scanner are expected to range from examining coiiision risks when installing new equipment in a production environment to documenting oil platforms - or even accurately recording ancient monuments. Faro's LS Laser Scanner comprises four components - a base module, PC module, laser and distance sensor module and a mirror module. Components can be exchanged or upgraded at any time allowing flexibility to tailor the scanner to the application.
