DESIGN of the octagonal Baseworx inserts combined with an innovative cutter body - which presents a 20 degree axial approach to the workpiece - enables much higher depths of cut to be achieved for the same power consumption when compared to using conventional face mills. Combined with the highest available number of cutting edges, this ensures that Baseworx provides a cost-effective solution for face milling, slot milling, pocket milling and chamfering.
