摘要

The research presented in this paper aims to establish theoptimal parameters of the thermal treatment in the case of thecomposite MMCH. The material used is a composite with a matrix ofan alloy with an aluminum base - AlSi7Mg03 reinforced with 10% SiCand 1.25% Graphite covered with cooper. The improvement of themechanical characteristics of the analyzed composite is done throughsolution treatment and artificial aging. The hardening was done atstandard parameters and the aging at different time intervals; 2,4,8,10hours. Optimal characteristics were obtained for the duration between4-8 hours.
