WITH an aging workforce, and a looming skills shortage in the logistics world, it's surprising that many logistics professionals and companies know little about (and focus little on) opportunities to do with education, up-skiUing, retraining their employees and personal career planning in this industry When we take a further look at the entry point into our world for school leavers, another surprise is that while there has been progress made in industry education opportunities, there is limited access to opportunities for students/school leavers wanting to enter a career directly into the industry.
