As we are off and running in a new calendar year, some of us will be getting very busy with substantial automation projects that may have been delayed for a year or two by some political and economic instability. With capital expenditure approved, project plan and team in place, and a renewed energy and vitality after a summer break, have you considered how much time and effort you have invested in getting the 'people piece' correct as part of your exciting (and probably very expensive) project? My observation is that, despite the best intentions of all involved, where we logically and emotionally understand that people are by far the most important asset we have (it's kind of simple to appreciate as we are people!)
