摘要

A low profile all-metal mechanically robust circular microstrip patch antenna at S-band frequencies is presented. The single coaxial feed circularly polarized antenna was optimized for a 3-unit CubeSat structure. Good correlation between simulated and measured results was obtained. The measured antenna has a maximum gain of 8.9 dBi, and the -10 dB reflection coefficient bandwidth is 5.4%.
