摘要

In this paper, a microstrip patch antenna array on ground with PBG is simulated and measured. It is shown that the photonic band-gap (PBG) can suppress harmonics and optimize the current distribution on the patches. As a result, the gain of the antenna array is improved and the side-lobe level is reduced.
