摘要

In a recent breakthrough experiment, the marker-free cm-chip analysis of DNA using THz voltage pulses propagating along a resonant thin-film microstrip line was demonstrated. However, the large area of standard filters used in this experiment requires amounts of DNA material that exceed the amount used in state-of-the-art biochip readers. Based on numerical simulations, in this paper we present a new class of filters with increased sensitivity, which require much less DNA material, and propose, a new improved measurement scheme.
