Innovatherms latest developments for the advanced firing system ProBake deal with the most efficient use of the heat content of the pitch in the anodes. The task was to regard the pitch as an additional fuel which can influence the heat efficiency tremendously. An analysis of the energy balance showed, the heat content of the pitch is basically more than what is needed to bake the anodes. In recent developments over the last years the company developed a new firing technology to use almost the whole of this heat for the baking process instead of creating emissions in the flue gas. This was implemented into the new ProBake sophisticated control philosophy. Since 1960, Kabert Industries Inc. has been furnishing the aluminum industry with casting supplies. Fiberglass cloth, an inexpensive and effective method of nonferrous molten metal distribution and filtration, is especially woven for the aluminum industry. In addition to roll goods, the cloth can be cut and sewn into mini channel bags, trough socks and a variety of other shapes. Other products available include gaskets, which are primarily used to seal and insulate troughs.
