I'll start with what usually goes at the end - the conclusion. The MiTo is a Jekyll and Hyde car from Alfa Romeo. There's much to like about it, but unfortunately there's more that would irritate me as the owner. On the plus side, this compact hatchback is striking to look at, apeing the design of the 8C Competitizione supercar. Designed as a rival to the Mini, it has some great detail, such as the boot badge doubling as the release button, a really upmarket interior with lovely leather seats, and an eye-catching swooping dashboard layout.
