The Hudson Institute of Mineralogy, a 501( c)3 tax-exempt foundation, recently made a substantial donation of mineral specimens to the New York State Museum at the state capital in Albany. The donation consisted of nearly 2,000 mineral specimens, with an emphasis on uncommon minerals and unusual localities.
