Again this year, the Minerals Education Coalition (MEC) will partner with the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) to provide educational resources to science teachers as part of AGI's Earth Science Week (ESW). Since October 1998, the American Geosciences Institute has organized this international event to help the public gain a better understanding and appreciation for the earth sciences and to encourage stewardship of the Earth.
