ITT Flygt was the first to offer a practical, heavy-duty electric submersible pump, that could withstand the severe demands of mine dewatering and still be portable. Miners have come to appreciate the compact, proven design of ITT Flygt Submersible mining pumps for well over fifty years. ITT Flygt was the first to offer a submersible pump, approved for use in gassy mines by The United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Mines, in May, 1966. Today at ITT Flygt, we know from over fifty years experience, what it takes to design and manufacture the finest, heavy-duty submersible equipment. Perhaps it's because we never take shortcuts when it comes to quality. From manufacturing of the motors to the casting and machining of the parts, only the best makes it through our quality control checks. Flygt pumps can be found in just about any application around the world from small fractional horsepower homeowner pumps to large models used for flood control or to dewater massive construction projects.
