To help surface mines obtain greater control over operations cost management, P&H Mining Equipment has announced the roll-out of a new line of 'C-Series" P&H~R shovels and drills in early 2007. Designed with valuable guidance from P&H customers, the following shovel and drill models will be succeeded by the new C-Series machines: Improvements in three key areas - control, comfort and consistency - are at the heart of the new models. Foremost among the features that unite the new P&H C-Series shovels and drills is Centurion~(TM), a powerful communication, command and control system. Centurion is based upon technology that has performed well in difficult and demanding industrial environments that include nuclear power plants and steel mills - environments where 24/7 process control excellence is essential for operations safety, productivity and reliability.
