AN ARTICLE in the January issue of Mining Engineering titled "Edgar Mine hosts historic congressional hearing on mining education legislation," by William Gleason (page 28) incorrectly stated that the Mining Schools Enhancement Act would redirect millions of dollars in fees that are being collected from active mining operations to fund the research and educational programs at engineering schools with mining programs.
