ARTHUR A. SCHWEIZER is a 1970 graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla with a B.S. degree in metallurgical engineering. In 2000, he received a professional degree from the Metallurgical Department at the University of Missouri-Rolla. Schweizer began his 30-year career in mining with Phelps Dodge and Carlin Gold Mining. He then worked for Cominco American for more than 20 years. During those years, he worked at the Magmont Mine in Bixby, MO, the Buckhorn Mine in Elko, NV and the Glenbrook Nickel operation in Riddle, OR.
