Larox develops high-performance pressure filters, polishing filters, pinch valves and plant automation systems. The company's plant automation systems can expand production capacities, simplify processes, reduce energy consumption and improve the quality of a customer's end product. Larox's M 60 pressure filter is the company's largest model. In most applications, the M 60 can process up to 136 t/h (150 stph) of dry solids. These pressure filters are currently in operation at Companhia Vale do Rio Doce's (CVRD) iron ore complex in Brazil. The automatic pressure filters have improved the overall cost efficiency of CVRD's iron ore pelletizing process.
