Concerns about greenhouse gas emissions, the high cost for energy from conventional sources and an incredible increase in the demand for energy in developed and developing countries has made the market for nuclear energy better than it has ever been. There are currently more than 400 nuclear power reactors operating throughout the world. And another 30 or so are on the books. Recycled uranium sources will be able to fuel some of the increase in demand. However, new, mined sources will also be needed. Energy Fuels' - with its Whirlwind and Energy Queen mines, along with the proposed Pinon Ridge mill - has the resources to help meet that demand.
