摘要

Exploration spending during 1995 throughout the world increased for the third year in a row, according to a study by Minerals Economics Group (MEG). Corporate Exploration Strategies: A Worldwide Analysis reports on the budgets, exploration programs, exploration organization and strategies at 154 companies representing 2.69 billion dollars in corporate exploration expenditures. MEG estimates total 1995 worldwide nonferrous exploration expenditures at about 3.55 billion dollars. That is up 21 percent from the 2.93 billion dollars estimated fro 1994. This figure includes estimates for budgets that were not obtained, exploration spending by private companies that do not publish their figures and exploration by junior companies that each spent less than 3 million dollars on their exploration programs during 1995.
