A proposal for a lateral extension of Bradwell Quarry to yield 900,000 tonnes of sand and gravel has been approved.The application also included the retention of an existing processing plant including sand and gravel washing plant, office and weighbridge, ready mix concrete plant, bagging unit, dry silo mortar plant, water and silt management systems.The eastern end of the site included land granted planning permission for the development of an Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF).
