Mitsubishi Electric has developed an object-oriented framework in C++ programming language for implementing supervisory, control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. This article introduces the new framework (generation-based reconfigurablearchitecture for SCADA systems, GRASS) and a typical GRASS application.
