Ideal for a variety of measuring applications, the easy-to-use Hilti PD 40 and 42 Laser Range meters provide accurate, reliable measurements at the press of a button. The first laser range meters available with a pinpoint accuracy of + -31.75 mm (1.25 in.), the PD 40 and 42 can measure distances from 51 mm (2 in.) to up to 198 m (650 ft). Working from a single location, the PD 40 and 42 enable one person to take accurate measurements - even in hard-to-reach areas. The laser range meters also simplify the measurement of areas and volumes, including at longer distances or in vertical applications. This results in more efficient and accurate job estimates. The optional extension stick makes measuring even more comfortable and stable to get the most accurate readings out of the laser range meter.
