摘要

The South Gloucestershire Minerals and Waste Local Plan was adopted in May 2002, and replaces the Mineral Working in Avon Local Plan insofar as it applies to South Gloucestershire. The end date of the Plan is 2011. A public local inquiry was held in February/March 2001 into all outstanding objections to the Local Plan. The Inspector's Report was received by the Council in June 2001. The Council considered the Inspector's Recommendations in November 2001 and published Proposed Modifications in December 2001. In April 2002 the Council considered the responses to the Proposed Modifications and resolved to adopt the Plan without proposing further modifications that materially affected the content of the Plan.
