Supreme accuracy and dimensional stability are the keywords for BAKU standards, the high-precision products made by BAKU Normalien GmbH. Established in 1992 as a mere trading business for the distribution of metal tools and standards for industrial forming and punching processes, the company found itself faced with the tremendous demand for fast and reliable services in this sector. BAKU Normalien GmbH turned to its own production of standards made to demanding customer requirements: in 1995, the first production plant was inaugurated in Dipoldiswalde, providing an area of 1500 square meters and 30 workplaces. The fact that only three years later this plant had become too small already confirms the exceptional level of quality it had been able to realize. In early 1998, a second production plant was set up in Johanngeorgenstadt with a production area of 4000 square meters on total grounds of 8000 square meters. Needless to say, substantial investments have been made in advanced technology, processing methods and the adaptation of buildings since. The result is a company which excels for its precision workmanship as well as its good cooperation with customers, high-speed services, a high level of competence, and an exceptional command of flexibility.
