When considering Ihe worldwide inventory levels for the key cereals, there are nosigns of a glut of grains on the global market, despite the positive harvest outlook and the higher stocks with main exporters.World grains supply In 2012/13 fell by 4% due to the weak results in the United States and the former CIS-countries, Some relief tor the tight feed grain markets came from strong corn harvests in South America.Conab, Brazil's crop supply data agency, recently raised its estimate in for the 2013 corn harvest by 1 mln tonnes to a record 81,3 mln, up 12% y/y. The latest upward revision can be attributed to better than expected yields with the second crop (46.2 mln tonnes vs. 45.1 mln;"2012: 39,1 mln). Following frosts in Parana, Conab cut trie 2013 wheat harvest estimate to 5.0 mln tonnes from 5.6 mln, still up 13% on the year.
