With 15 years of machining and programming experience for a Denver manufacturer, Joe Rogers knew he wanted to go out on his own, but he also knew that picking the correct business niche was essential for making the move a success. With his experience as a foundation, he surveyed the machining services available in the general Denver area and the rest of Colorado. His choice became obvious: Electric Discharge Machining, EDM. At Denver's Alfred Manufacturing, he had gained 15 years experience with the technology and its capabilities. "I looked into it and, from my experience and from all the different types of machining and my affinity for computer-aided manufacturing, wire EDM was the way I wanted to go."
