摘要

The archaeological soil science is an interdisciplinary research area. This permits us to use the information preserved in soils overlain by the filled burial mounds to reconstruct the evolution of the landscapes [1, 2]. At present, the soil-archaeological studies are implemented over a huge territory in the Eurasian steppes—from the Danube to the Transbaikal region. More or less advanced conceptual regional models are developed describing the evolution of soils in the Holocene; the regions embracethe Southern Urals and some areas in Siberia and Central Asia. The East-European region is the most well-known in this respect.
