The rugged R-DDV servovalve from HR Textron incorporates a powerful, limited-angle, rotary torque motor that drives a valve spool directly through an eccentric built into the motor shaft. Rotation of the motor produces linear spool motion that modulates the flow of fluid through the valve's control ports. The 4-way, flow-control R-DDV has no fluid amplifier therefore no orifice assemblies, nozzles, jets, or filters to become clogged.
