摘要

Main objective of the actual project is to evaluate energy efficiency on building activity throughthe study of external thermal loads. To do that evaluation of solar irradiance flux on buildingenvelope is the aim presented in the current paper. Theoretical and experimental approacheshave been undertaken to estimate magnitude of solar irradiance flux. Measurements have beenconveyed in two university campus located in centre and periphery of Santiago city for 2 weeksin spring. Santiago of Chile has a mediterranean climate with great yearly and daily variations.A mathematic model was developed to simulate irradiance on building envelope as well aspyranometers were fixed on solar facades. Results showed different values between instrumentsand model which can be explained by urban surrounding features such as building shadows,vegetation, sky view factors and terrain cover.
