Rhexoampullifera subglobosa anam. sp. nov., characterized by subglobose, turbinate, navicular to irregular, septate, two-colored (dark brown to black and pale brown) conidia emerging from conspicuous, repeatedly branched conidiophores, is described and illustrated. It was collected on decaying leaves of an unidentified member of the Myrtaceae in Brazil.
