摘要

Simply putting project lessons into a database does little to spread them around the organization. In fact, many such repositories continue to grow, but don't deliver a corresponding return. Nancy M. Dixon says this is because organizations haven't paid enough attention to the demand side of knowledge sharing - those who are doing the asking. Here, she describes how to link the lessons-learned database with a social process that truly allows the organization to benefit from what it knows.
