The Texas Medical Association (TMA) recentiy enlisted APQC, a global resource for process and performance improvement, to help build new and better ways to work and succeed in a competitive marketplace through the implementation of Communities of Practice (CoPs). The TMA currently serves more than 41,000 physician and medical student members. Their vision: "To improve the health of all Texans" is achieved by providing support to Texas physicians by providing distinctive solutions to the challenges they encounter in the case of their patients.
