In mines and quarries, employment of the "crushing and carrying method using a mobile crusher and conveyor at the working face" is examined in many cases for cost reduction by reduction of the number of machines and operators for carrying the stones, as well as for improvement of safety. We developed an ultra large-sized mobile crusher, the BR1600JG which could be used at a working face, and which was one of the largest crushers in Japan and combined it with mobile conveyor the BM2014C to realize the above method. Since this new method uses shafts and conveyors to carry the stones from the working face to the plant, dust, noise, etc. (which are environmental problems) can be prevented easily by installing dust covers. This is the advantage of this method.
