The following article presents the modifications and enhancements to press hydraulics that Wickert Maschinenbau GmbH in Landau has introduced in its new series. The facts about the new generation of hydraulics are: * improved reproducibibty through the use of pressure and swivel angle controlled axial piston pumps. * free selection of force and speed for all travel functions as defaults * reduction of machine cycle time through increased travel speeds * effective filtration for increased dependability * non-leak connection system provides excellent sealing * increased service life of individual components through reduction in operating pressure * hydraulics at floor level (including downstroke presses) for easier maintenance * short lead times- maximum flexibility through standardization of hydraulics * careful selection of components to reduce running noise.
