The efficient development of future power trains in the automotive engineering requires an integrated consideration of the complete system, sub-systems, parts and elements. For this, the Institute of Machine Design and Automotive Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany provides an integrated methodology to carry out power train engineering as a closed process.
