摘要

This was an observational study of patients enrolled in the CRUSADE Initiative, a database that was initiated on 1 January 2001. All patients enrolled presented to one of the participating US hospitals within 24 h of experiencing ischemic symptoms that lasted 10min or longer. All patients enrolled in this study also had either transient ST-segment elevation, ST-segment depression, or elevated levels of troponin or creatinine kinase-MB. This study analyzed temporal changes in adherence to six CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) quality-of-care criteria and eight non-CMS criteria, in both CRUSADE hospitals participating and those not participating (control) in a pay-for-performance scheme.
