Two new species of the pterotrigoniid bivalve Arabitrigonia (NAKANO, 1973) are described, one from the Late Albian of South Africa and the other from the Cenomanian of Lebanon. Together they greatly extend the geographical and stratigraphical range of the genus. Trigonia syriaca CONRAD, 1852, a likely senior synonym of A. pseudocrenulata (NOETLING, 1886), is declared a nomen oblitum.
