A new study from Italy showed that a mixture of saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) extract, selenium and lycopene (SeR-Se-Ly) in combination with tamsulosin was more effective in improving lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) determined through the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) in patients with moderate to severe BPH than either SeR-Se-Ly or tamsulosin alone.
