With sustainability playing an ever-increasing role in product selection decisions, there's reason to believe the best years for the metal construction industry remain ahead. But regardless of what the future holds, the industry at present is strong and vibrant, with products such as roofing, siding and metal building systems being frequently relied upon to meet architects' functional and aesthetic objectives. Tracking the use and acceptance of metal construction products among architects was the goal two decades ago when Metal Architecture conducted its very first reader survey. And that was the mission this year as well when work began on the 21st annual installment.
