Bill Klauer Sr, 92, chairman of the board of Klauer Mfg. Co., died February 21 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, IA, following a stroke.Mr Klauer worked with the family-owned Klauer Mfg. Co., founded by his grandfather in 1870, throughout his life. He became president of the company in 1964 and performed those duties for 20 years, until he was succeeded by his son Bill Klauer Jr, who continues in that role. Mr Klauer had since served as chairman of the board.
