This paper reports the activities carried out at the Department of Applied Science and Technology of Politecnico di Torino about Titanium Aluminide alloys for aerospace and automotive applications processed by the Electron Beam Melting (EBM) Additive Manufacturing technique. In particular, it describes the material characterization and the heat-treatments performed on different 7-TiAl alloys in order to improve their properties in view of their final applications.
