摘要

An 11-year-old girl was admitted to our hospital with a 3-year history of polyuria and polydipsia, and complaints of obvious weight gain and growth failure. One month earlier, a painful mass had been found beneath the scalp, accompanied by headache and vomiting. The patient reported no significant past medical, surgical or family histories.On physical examination at admission, her temperature was 37.2degC, pulse 73/min with arrhythmia and blood pressure 110/70 mmHg. A palpable mass was detected beneath the scalp in the right parietal region. Visual acuity, visual fields and fundoscopic examination were normal. The cranial nerve examination was unremarkable. The laboratory data and endocrinologic parameters were in the normal range.
