I'm the type of person who likes to stop and smell the roses - then pick em for indoors. But until a few years ago, my experience with picking gardens was limited to helping myself to flowers from my parents' patch or, reluctantly, the odd bloom frommy own garden. Many gardeners - me included - find it hard to pick their own blooms to take indoors when they look so good outside. So to get my head around it, I planted a picking garden - a patch where every flower is grown specifically for the vase.
