摘要

Sustainability may be the new buzzword, but the buzz in Sheryl and Paul Steens' garden, high in the Papamoa Hills near Tauranga, is from bees. Their 0.8-hectare garden was once home to hundreds of commercial beehives, testament to the couple's loveof nature. "Bees and flowers have evolved together really," says Sheryl. "They've clothed and coloured our world. Our business is about working with nature, it's part and parcel of who we are, and to garden is so rewarding."
