As a required course in most baccalaureate nursing curricula, statistics is one of the more challenging subjects to teach. Despite the fact that a solid foundation in statistics is considered a critical component of developing a solid research core in the discipline, most educators acknowledge that students have negative attitudes about statistics, ranging from mild anxiety to panic.
